Delegates participating in the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) caravan embarked on a regional tour with a commencement marked by a solemn flag-raising ceremony and a reenactment of the historic declaration of Philippine Independence at the revered Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite.
The Philippine Experience Program (PEP) stands as one of the flagship initiatives under the purview of the Department of Tourism (DOT), led by Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco. The Calabarzon leg of the program constitutes its second iteration for the year, following the resounding success of the Davao leg held last June, which was graced by esteemed members of the diplomatic corps.

They were afforded the privilege of not only witnessing the reenactment ceremony but also of stepping into the ancestral residence of Emilio Aguinaldo, the inaugural President of the Philippines.
