China cautions the U.S. against deploying fighter jets piloted by Artificial Intelligence.

Antipolo Magazine 2020 On January 30, 2019, Roger Tanner and Bill Gray piloted the Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator Test Aircraft (VISTA) from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, to Edwards Air Force Base following modifications and a new paint scheme. The aircraft was redesignated from NF-16D to X-62A on June 14, 2021 (U.S. Air Force photo by Christian Turner). Recently, U.S. Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall flew aboard an experimental F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jet equipped with artificial intelligence. This development has raised concerns for the People’s Republic of China, as AI-piloted combat aircraft could offer superior capabilities and faster response times compared to human-piloted planes.   Notably, this is not the first instance of testing an AI-controlled aircraft. This Will Be the Key to a New War Between the U.S. Philippines and China.

Antipolo Magazine 2020

The new bases will mostly be utilized, according to Manila and Washington, to respond to natural and man-made disasters in Southeast Asian nations.

China, on the other hand, has harshly denounced the pact and said that the US is using these bases to intervene in the Taiwan Strait and further its geopolitical objectives

In a recent statement, Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian expressed worry over the Philippines' decision to allow more US military personnel access, saying that this action has "caused widespread and grave concern among Chinese people."

If the Philippines truly cares about the wellbeing of the nearly 150,000 overseas Filipino workers, Xilian recommended the nation to vehemently reject any movements towards Taiwanese independence
.

In retaliation, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos declared on April 19 that he would meet with Beijing's representative in Manila to demand an explanation for his remarks about how the Philippines was "stoking the fire" over Taiwan's independence.

Marcos speculated that the ambassador's remarks might have been a product of a misunderstanding or a missed translation. China's embassy in Manila clarified that the ambassador was misquoted in response to complaints from legislators.

The US benefits greatly from the strategic location of the Philippines because it provides a focal point for military operations that bases in Okinawa cannot equal

The nation gives US troops more flexibility and engagement opportunities in numerous theaters of operation in Northeast and Southeast Asia thanks to access to important South China Sea waterways.

The US's latest pact with the Philippines is consistent with other commitments it has made to Asian nations.

For instance, the US promised to strengthen its alliance with Japan on January 11 in order to counter China's and North Korea's influence. According to experts, the US-Philippines accord will boost the security of Japan and South Korea by discouraging Chinese aggression in the region.

When it comes to the possibility of increased regional tension, the situation in Taiwan is now the most worrisome. It is urgent for neighboring nations and the US to oppose China's actions in light of its hostile approach towards the island, which has a distinct government from China. Experts predict that a future armed battle over the island is likely
