Weather Advisory: LPA Outside PAR as of July 8, 2025 – Low Chance of Cyclone Formation


As of 8:00 PM, July 8, 2025, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) continues to monitor a Low Pressure Area (LPA 07b) located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).


🔍 Current Status:

• Location: Outside PAR (exact coordinates not yet within monitoring zone)
• Development: As of this update, it has a LOW chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.


🌦️ While this weather disturbance poses no immediate threat to the country, residents—especially in eastern parts of the Philippines—are still encouraged to stay updated, as weather conditions can change rapidly.

Aus-PHL Joint Air Exercise 2023

Antipolo Magazine 2020 Australian Royal Navy in West Philippine Sea Australia and the Philippines recently held their inaugural large-scale joint aerial assault training exercise in the disputed South China Sea on August 21. This event served to strengthen their defense partnerships as a response to China's growing and assertive military activities in the region.
